Apple released a variety of software updates today focused on bug fixes and security updates, including iOS 26.7.1 for iPhone. Here are the details.
Apple releases new security update for iOS 26 users
Two weeks ago, Apple launched major new software updates like iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and more. They’re packed with new features, headlined by Siri AI.
Now today, the company is rolling out smaller bug fix updates to those releases. iOS 27.0.1 and iPadOS 27.0.1 are here, plus several macOS updates.
Joining them all is iOS 26.7.1 for all iPhones that haven’t yet upgraded to iOS 27.
iOS 26.7.1, per Apple’s release notes, contains “security fixes for your iPhone.”
The company hasn’t yet published the specific details of those fixes, but it will soon on this website.
